The pilot will start production in late spring this year and will be broadcast across Zone Reality’s international feeds.  It is anticipated that a full series of Stupid Laws will be produced in the future. 

The pilot and series of Stupid Laws will be distributed internationally by Zone Distribution.

Stupid Laws is set to uncover, expose, ridicule and test the most unusual, obscure and arcane laws that sit on the statute books of the United States of America.  Featuring local people and local law enforcement agencies in each state, the series will show audiences just how stupid these laws really are.  Using amusing reconstructions and voice-over commentary, each episode will explain everything viewers need to know so that they can avoid breaking the world’s most brainless laws themselves.

Howard Myers (formerly Creative Director, Portfolio Development Group, Buena Vista International Television), and Steve Wynne (formerly Director of Production, Warner Brothers International Television) set up Rival Media in February 2007. Howard and Steve have since built up a strong development team which has been developing an exciting slate of new Entertainment and Factual Entertainment shows.
