Following the success of their debut album, We Don't Need To Whisper, ANGELS AND AIRWAVES are releasing their new single "It Hurts" on 24 July 2006 through Island Records. We Don't Need To Whisper entered the Billboard Top 100 at number 4 and the UK album charts at number 6 when it was released last month.

ANGELS AND AIRWAVES are compromised of Tom DeLonge (vocals/guitars, ex Blink 182), David Kennedy (guitars, ex Boxcar Racer), Ryan Sinn (bass, ex Distillers) and Atom Willard (drums, ex Offspring and Rocket From The Crypt). Based in San Diego, California, it's hard to believe that the band only formed just over a year ago as they have already graced the cover of Kerrang three times and received rave reviews from a number of publications including Rolling Stone, New York Times, NME and The Sun to name but a few!
